American West CoastWhen visiting his daughter in San Francisco, California, Bayers seized the opportunity to drive the Pacific Coast Highway (Californiaís Route 1) from San Francisco south to Big Sur. This trip inspired him to begin the American West Coast collection, a series of landscapes depicting the perfect views of ocean waves breaking on rocky shores, picturesque lighthouses on colorful cliffs scattered with wildflowers and several other unique Southern California scenes. Subsequent trips to Napa Valley and Sonoma allowed Bayers to continue this collection with breathtaking and serene views of the picturesque wine country and its many vineyards. |
