Following is a suggested list of materials and supplies for the Plein Air Workshop:

• Four primed & stretched canvases or canvas boards (size 10"x12" or smaller)
• Oil paints: Ultra Marine Blue, Permanent Green Deep, Cadmium Yellow Medium or Pale, Cadmium Red Medium, Alizarium Crimson, Titanium White
• Brushes: Bring a selection of sizes & styles including a large 1-1/2"x2" brush, filberts and flats
• Paint mediums (retarders, oils)
• Drawing supplies: Charcoal or pencil, sketch pad and kneaded eraser
• Painting Gear:
  • Sturdy, lightweight easel or pochade box
  • Wheeled cart w/bungie cords or rolling carry-on
  • Palette or disposable paper palette
  • Waste bags (grocery bags are great)
  • Portable chair
  • Easel umbrella
  • Paper towels
  • Containers for cleaning brushes & containers for water or mediums
  • Solvents
  • Fixative
  • Tape
  • Palette knife
• Personal Gear:
  • Sunscreen
